Asha Vyas, O.D.

Meet Dr. Asha Vyas (Washington, DC)

Asha Vyas, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Her clinical training includes externships at the Lebanon VA Medical Center in Pennsylvania, Mid Florida Eye Center in Florida, and Hiatt Eye Center in Arizona. During these rotations, Dr. Vyas gained extensive experience in comprehensive primary eye care, emergency eye care, contact lens evaluations, refractive surgery co-management, and the management of diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Vyas is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care and is currently welcoming new patients at Metropolitan Optical. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, and reading new books.
